Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of AI Golfing Coach, operated by Grip Intelligence AI Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17387904, registered office Office F18, 22-25 Portman Close, London, W1H 6BS. By signing in and uploading a swing, you agree to them. You must be 13 or older to use the service.

What the service does

You upload a video of a golf swing. We detect your body position in each frame, measure a set of angles and timings at key points in the swing, and show you the results with a score and a coaching summary.

What it is not

This is not medical, physiotherapy, or fitness advice. It is a measurement tool. Golf involves physical exertion and a risk of injury. If you have any injury, pain or medical condition, speak to a qualified professional before changing your swing, your training load or your technique on the basis of what this app tells you. You use any suggestion here at your own risk.

Accuracy

Measurements depend heavily on how the video was filmed. Poor framing, low frame rates, and obstructed views all reduce how much we can measure, and the app tells you when that happens rather than guessing. We do not guarantee that any individual measurement is correct, and scores should be read as a trend over many swings rather than a verdict on any one.

Your account

• You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a one-time code we send to an email address you control.
• You are responsible for what is uploaded from your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account. Everything goes with it.

What you upload

You must have the right to upload the video. Do not upload footage of other people without their agreement, and do not upload anything unlawful. You keep ownership of your videos; you grant us permission to process them solely in order to provide you with analysis. We do not use your footage to train models. If you opt in from Account, we may use anonymised measurements from swings we already scored (not the video) to improve shared typical ranges. You can opt out at any time.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Fair use

Analysis is computationally expensive, so every account has an upload ceiling. A free account includes 12 analyses in a rolling 30 days. A Pro account — monthly or annual, including trial and intro — may upload 20 videos in a rolling 24 hours. Monthly and annual are the same Pro; paying annually does not raise the daily cap. We may refuse further uploads until the window lifts, and we may change these numbers if the service would otherwise be unable to stay up for everyone.

Subscriptions

Optional Pro is sold through the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android. Apple or Google take the payment and hold the billing relationship; we never see your card details. Prices are shown in the store before you confirm and can differ by country and currency. Cancel in the store you used (Account → Manage subscription opens it); cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro stays on until the end of the period already paid. A free trial or introductory price, if offered, converts to the standard price unless you cancel before it ends. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules; if you believe you are owed one, contact Apple or Google first and email support@aigolfingcoach.com if you need help. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.

Written PGA professional reviews

You can buy a one-off written review of a swing from a PGA professional inside the app. The price is shown in the store before you confirm. You choose the swing and add your questions; the professional sees that swing's video and our measurements under an anonymous id, never your name or email. We aim to return the written review within 3 days of purchase. If it is late we email you, and if you would rather not wait we will help you obtain a refund from the store you paid through. A review is one coach's professional opinion on a single recording; it carries the same limits as the rest of the service, and the “What it is not” section applies to it.

Emails

When you first create an account we send a one-time welcome with how to film. That is not a newsletter and it is not sent again on later sign-ins. Optional product emails (news, updates, promotions) are off until you switch them on in Account. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export your data first.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere you keep any mandatory protections of your own country's law, and nothing here takes them away.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms. Contact: info@aigolfingcoach.com.
